Paleo Desserts – Cave Lions Of The Paleolithic Era Would Love This Cookie Dessert Recipe!

Stop scratching your head trying to figure out how to make some butt-kicking Paleo desserts. See, I'm about to share with you a drool-inducing Paleo cookie recipe that will keep you coming back for more!

Listen, my circle of friends do not embrace the Paleo diet regimen. They sometimes make fun of my "caveman" meals so one day; I got a hold of these Encyclopedia-like Paleo cookbooks.

The books are stuffed with recipes on Paleo desserts. Appetizers, main courses and more are included as well, but this cookie recipe (which I will be sharing with you) caught my eye.

So, I made those cookies and offered them to my non-Paleo buddies…And, here's the kicker!

They all loved those cookies! I watched them disappear from my baking oven within 15 minutes.

It was totally insane and one friend remarked that if the Paleolithic era cave lions were alive right now, surely they would gobble up those cookies! Now, my friends want me to make more Paleo desserts.

Alright! Alright! Sorry for blabbing too much…

Here's the Paleo cookie recipe and if you need more yummy recipes that are Paleo oriented, I'll tell you where to get them after this recipe.

Recipe for Paleo Cookies

2 Tablespoons of arrowroot
1 Cup of flaked coconut
½ Teaspoon organic Kelp Granules (salt alternative)
½Cup of sesame seeds
¼ cup of sunflower seeds
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
½  Cup of finely chopped almonds
½ Cup of Maple Syrup (Non-Paleo friendly!)
4 Egg whites

Directions: Beat the egg whites until you get stiff peaks. Take out the skillet and dry fry the coconut and seeds until slightly browned. Put in almonds, organic kelp, and vanilla to the eggs and combine well. Now add in maple syrup and combine the mixture well.

Now let's cover the baking process. Oven should be preheated to about 300 degrees. A baking parchment should be laid on top of cookie sheet and buttered well.

Next, place a spoonful of mixture on the parchment paper. Bake at 300 for approximately 30 minutes. Let it cool first and then you may enjoy one of the best Paleo desserts!
